From a young age, Jay was the kind of person who rearranged his room just to make it feel better.
Later, he earned a degree in Structural Engineering from a QS Top 100 university—diving deep into statics, dynamics, and materials science.
But his real obsession wasn’t formulas—it was freedom.
How do you design products that take up less, but do more? That travel well, store neatly, and still feel good to use?
After graduation, Jay worked hands-on in product design—sketching, prototyping, testing, and refining. But he quickly realized: great design alone isn’t enough. Products must also be accessible, practical, and built for movement.
So he turned to global e-commerce—mastering SEO, Google & Meta Ads,
and how to build a brand from the ground up.
With that mix of engineering precision and digital skill, he launched Gomava:
